Description: Colombia's program started by teaching agroforestry skills to interested individuals in the communities. The program includes an agroforestry training course, has started five community nurseries, and has distributed 50,000 seeds and seedlings. As of August 2011, over 100,000 trees were surviving in fields throughout the Urrao region.
